Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused IT Consultant & Project Manager with a passion for delivering integrated technology solutions across commercial, hospitality, and residential environments. You will oversee the full project lifecycle — from IT strategy and technical design to procurement, implementation, and final handover — ensuring seamless delivery and alignment with client objectives.

With over 5 years of experience managing infrastructure, AV, and smart technology projects, the ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness, and a commitment to delivering excellence on every engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT, AV, and smart building projects in alignment with RIBA stages.
Develop and execute IT strategies and roadmaps tailored to client needs and project goals.
Oversee technical design, documentation, and specification of network infrastructure, security systems, and connected technologies.
Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including tendering, procurement, and supplier performance.
Coordinate installation, configuration, and commissioning of IT and AV systems to ensure full integration and functionality.
Conduct risk assessments, cost control, and project scheduling to maintain timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with architects, M&E consultants, and construction teams to align technology with building design.
Provide technical consultancy on emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
Produce detailed handover documentation, as-built drawings, and user training materials.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security, and health & safety regulations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT consultancy and/or project management roles within construction, property, or technology sectors.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, AV integration, security systems, and smart technologies.
Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work, design coordination, and client-facing consultancy processes.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing quality, cost, and deadlines.
Excellent understanding of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi design, cloud systems, and IoT solutions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Visio, or similar tools.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Prince2, PMP, or ITIL certification preferred.
