Job description:
As an IT Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and ensuring seamless transitions from project initiation through to BAU (Business as Usual) support. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and the PMO, you’ll transform strategic goals into tangible outcomes that deliver measurable business value.
This is a key role for a proactive, delivery-focused leader with a passion for innovation, technology, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.
Manage budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies to maintain control over delivery outcomes.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and support staff.
Oversee change management processes, ensuring effective communication and minimal disruption.
Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and post-implementation reviews to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, quality standards, and information security protocols.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous enhancement of project delivery methodologies.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project staff and ensure collaboration across teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT project management within technology, consulting, or enterprise environments.
Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure, cloud, or digital transformation projects.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Smartsheet.
Solid understanding of ITIL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and IT operations processes.
Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile Scrum Master are highly desirable.
