Job description:
As a Project Manager with our client, you will oversee and coordinate live development projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s business plan and objectives. This role combines project delivery, community engagement, PR and communications, and business development responsibilities, making it ideal for someone passionate about creating meaningful social impact through housing and regeneration.
You’ll act as a key link between partners, stakeholders, and communities — driving projects from conception to completion while ensuring that developments deliver both commercial value and community benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple housing and regeneration projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget targets.
Oversee planning, design, procurement, and construction activities, maintaining strong coordination with contractors and consultants.
Support the preparation of business cases, funding applications, and feasibility studies.
Lead on stakeholder engagement, working closely with local authorities, housing associations, and community partners.
Manage project reporting, risk assessments, and performance monitoring against KPIs.
Contribute to PR and communications strategies that promote successful developments and community outcomes.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities that align with the company’s strategic growth objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all developments support the wider regeneration and sustainability agenda.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant health & safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Support the continuous improvement of project management frameworks and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Project Management, Construction, Urban Planning, Property Development, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing projects within the housing, regeneration, or construction sector.
Strong understanding of development processes, from site acquisition through to completion.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Experience in community engagement and promoting social value through projects.
Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and project reporting tools.
Professional qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2, or RICS accreditation are desirable.
A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach with a strong commitment to sustainability and impact-driven development.
