Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Business Analyst to support project teams in delivering value-driven, effective business solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in understanding client requirements, driving business transformation, and ensuring all deliverables align with organisational strategy and goals.
This position requires exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, strong analytical capabilities, and experience working within both Agile and Waterfall project environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
Conduct detailed process analysis, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop functional specifications, business cases, and user stories to support project delivery.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions with cross-functional teams.
Support the translation of business needs into system requirements for development and testing teams.
Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Developers to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics, ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value.
Support UAT planning and execution, including test case development and stakeholder sign-off.
Contribute to change management and business readiness activities during implementation.
Ensure consistent alignment with organisational strategy, governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within IT, finance, digital transformation, or similar sectors.
Proven ability to deliver in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Strong knowledge of process mapping, requirement elicitation, and documentation standards (e.g., BPMN, UML).
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Professional certifications such as BCS Business Analysis Diploma, Agile BA, or CBAP are highly desirable.
