We are now seeking a Software Tester (Manual and Automation) to join their dynamic QA team and ensure the consistent delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, scripts, and cases across web-based applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing throughout the SDLC.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and define test objectives.
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate back-end integrations.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure that all testing activities adhere to information security and data protection standards.
Provide detailed test documentation and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
3+ years’ experience as a Software Tester / QA Engineer, with proven exposure to both manual and automation testing.
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for test automation.
Experience testing web applications, APIs, and databases (SQL).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycles.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
Knowledge of data protection regulations (GDPR) and secure testing practices.
ISTQB Foundation or similar certification is highly desirable.
