Job description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to drive strategic and operational decisions across the business.
This role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver actionable insights that improve business performance, streamline processes, and support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract, clean, and analyse data from internal systems, databases, and third-party sources.
Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Develop and implement data models and analytical frameworks to support business performance tracking.
Provide data-driven recommendations to support sales strategy, marketing campaigns, and financial forecasting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning through accurate data insights.
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement using quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting systems.
Automate recurring data processes and improve data pipeline efficiency.
Present findings to senior leadership through clear, visual, and compelling storytelling.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2+ years’ experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data sets.
Strong working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools.
Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and pivot tables.
Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis (advantageous).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement.
Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices.
