We’re seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer with a passion for technology and problem-solving to join a growing but close-knit Managed Services Provider (MSP) team. You’ll play a key role in providing responsive technical support across macOS and Windows environments — both remotely and on-site — while contributing to exciting IT projects and developing your technical expertise.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic engineer who enjoys variety, client interaction, and hands-on technical challenges in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for macOS, Windows, and Office 365 environments.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and professionally.
Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices, peripherals, and applications.
Manage and support Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 accounts and permissions.
Deliver remote and on-site support to clients across London and the UK.
Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions using ticketing systems (e.g. ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar).
Assist in the rollout of IT infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades.
Ensure security best practices, including endpoint protection and patch management, are consistently applied.
Support and maintain network devices (routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points) and assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, documentation, and service delivery standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
2+ years’ experience in an IT Support Engineer or MSP support role.
Proven experience supporting both macOS and Windows operating systems.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory.
Experience with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi).
Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Full UK driving licence (advantageous for on-site visits).
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals) are desirable.
Why Join:
Competitive salary (£32,000 – £40,000 depending on experience)
Hybrid working with on-site client visits in London
Opportunities for career progression and technical certification (Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA)
Exposure to a variety of clients, technologies, and infrastructure environments
Supportive, friendly team culture focused on collaboration and growth
Hands-on experience with exciting MSP projects and cloud technologies
